Having a wedding in 2020 meant dealing with all the stress, anxiety, and emotions of planning a pandemic wedding while also juggling work every day as a front-line health care provider. Throughout this process, one of the best decisions we made was working with Palino Events, something I am beyond grateful for in retrospect. Zahra and Chanel turned the planning sessions we were dreading into wine nights and taco breakfasts, allowing us to navigate wedding planning in a relaxing and fun environment. They were incredibly efficient, organized, and advocated for us every step of the way. Whether it was negotiating with vendors, attention to detail, or even flawless day-of execution, they went above and beyond. Somewhere along this process (which included them tolerating a lot of my venting sessions), we developed trust that isn’t always easily attainable, and is incredibly valuable during what can be a stressful time. Even after the wedding was over, they surprised us with a gesture that I will never forget. My one regret was forgetting to save my wedding bouquet – but, of course, Zahra and Chanel somehow remembered to grab it amongst everything else going on and used to create a beautiful HAND MADE pressed flower shadow box. I enjoy celebrating and really any excuse to get my favorite people together. I’ve been lucky enough to have Palino Events as my team of planners for all my events. May it be a housewarming, or birthday party. Chanel and Zahra collaborate in such an innovative way making the time leading up to the day just as exciting.
